The Mountaintop Mercantile™ (also known as the Mountaintop Merc™) is next door to the historic Wondervu Cafe®, which has been serving this mountain since the 1970s. Once a gift shop, the Merc was fully renovated and reopened in 2026. The original Wondervu Gift Shop was known for its ice cream, local food items, beverages, and gifts; the Mountaintop Merc now offers fresh-baked sourdough, pastries, gourmet meats & cheeses, Little Man® Ice Cream, Sweet Shop® chocolate truffles, and take-out pizza baked fresh at the Wondervu Cafe®. Make the drive. The view alone is worth it—but this sweet mountain treasure awaits you at the top.
